The park of glowing mushrooms is a magical and mystical place for family fun and activities. The strange world of mushrooms will put a spell on everyone. You will want to touch, take pictures, selfies and short films. You will be filled with childish joy as if you found yourself in a kingdom of magic.
Mushrooms will glow, blink, make noises and some of them will even spit out smoke! Their size will make you feel like a small forest creature – while some of them are just little younglings, sprouting their heads through the moss, others reach up to 4 meters. We invite you to a spectacular journey in “Gervių lizdas” (Cranes Nest) – you will enter the path of glowing, colorful and playful mushrooms through the thick stem of boletus edulis – the King of all mushrooms and in the end you'll be stunned with the feminine beauty of amanita muscaria, otherwise known as Fly Agaric.
A cozy clay house with a fire will make you warm while you watch a movie about a wonderful world of mushrooms.
Our outdoor restaurant "Lesykla" offers fine homemade "Mona Ližė" pizza and crepes, as well as hot drinks. And our souvenir kiosk is ready to please you with all kinds of interesting and unusual goods. While you wait for your pizza or searching for the right souvenir your kids can rampage in a unique bottle cap pool or build and create with LEGO in a Troll House.
You will be greeted with a cozy and warm atmosphere of "Gervių lizdas” and its staff on the evenings of September and October.
"Gervių lizdas” is a place where we create anything out of nothing. Sustainability is the number one thing that drives us through all kinds of challenges. You'll find strange buildings made from clay and old windows, swings with tree roots on the top, 4000 oak seedlings and all kinds of other unusual stuff. It is also a place of education and summer camps for children, where we learn together, build together, create together and even make movies together.
- Plan to spend 2 – 3 hours here with us to get as much experience as possible.
- No alcohol is allowed at the campsite.
